Obituary
Linnie Irene Holden of Supply, NC, died August 11, 2026. She was born August 13, 1936, in Brunswick County, NC, a daughter of Lucian Edgar Holden and Lula Dorothy McCall Holden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Allen Holden; her niece, Rhonda Renee Hewett; and nephew, Ronald Emery Hewett. She was a retired payroll specialist.
Surviving are her sisters, Pauline Hewett and Frances Clausing; nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews, and special family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2026 from Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel, by The Rev. Jason Benton. Interment will be private.
Casket Bearers will be Justin Hewett, Kyle Clemmons, Michael Clausing, Chris Clausing, Jeremy Holden, and Hope Adams.
The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of choice in remembrance of Irene.
