Obituary
Frances Lois Gore, 70, of Ash, NC entered into her heavenly home Sunday, August 28, 2016 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Gore was born on October 18, 1945 in Whiteville, NC to the late Auther and Annie Gore. She was raised in the Old Dock Community.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gore was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henderson Gore and an infant daughter. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Vanessa Gore Hewett (Hilyard) of Ash; two sons, Dean Gore of Ash and Don Gore (Melanie) of Shallotte; five grandchildren whom she dearly loved, Trey, Logan, Chandler, Rebecca and Austin; two sisters, Hilda Inman of Ash and her identical twin sister, Joyce Rogers of Whiteville; her best friend who she loved like a sister, PeeWee (Stella) White of Ash and many nieces and nephews that she loved as well as her many cousins, friends, her community and her church family at Zion Baptist Church, Ash. She was a Godly woman who had the faith of Job.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, from 6-8 pm at Brunswick Funeral Service and the funeral service Thursday, September 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Zion Baptist Church, Ash with Reverend Tommy Inman and Dr. Tommy Bryson officiating. Burial will follow in Griffin Cemetery, Ash.
Pallbearers will be her nephews, Berwyn Inman, Jamie Inman, Kyle Inman, James Rogers, Phillip Gore and Brad Stanley.
The family would like to thank Dr. Dean Karras, Dr. James Harper, Dr. Peter Kane, Dr. Brian Gilmore, their associates and staff. The CVICU, MICU, 7th floor nursing staff, Respiratory and Therapists at NHRMC and all the Therapists and nurses and staff at NHRMC Rehab Center for their support, medical care and kindness shown to our mother during her sickness.
