Obituary
Lorraine Faye Taylor, wife, mother, artist, jewelry designer, cookbook author, photographer, and world traveler, died May 12, 2019 at her residence. Lori was born October 28, 1950, in Middletown NY, to John and Lillian Bardagjy. She was proud of her Armenian heritage. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1972 and married James Taylor the same year. They moved to Boston and later to Leominster, MA where they welcomed their two beautiful girls, Kristen and Brooke. They lived in Sterling MA for thirty years before building their dream home in St. James, NC, where Lori was a member of the St. James Artisan Gallery.
Surviving in addition to her husband of forty-seven years, James Taylor, and daughters, Kristen Hall (Steven) of Cary, NC, and Brooke Taylor of Oxford, Ohio, are her brother Jon; sister, Joan; and four grandchildren, Lillian, Sophia, Austin, and Cole.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:30 AM, Wednesday, May 15, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Southport/Oak Island Chapel followed by a celebration of her life at the Members Club in St James from 11:30 to 1pm. Interment will be a private family service.
