Obituary
Lula Grace Evans, 91, of Shallotte, NC passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
Born in Onslow County on November 4, 1931, she was a daughter of Herbert W. Smith and Luanna Shepard Smith. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Rev. Laury Evans; daughter, Glenda Fay Upchurch; brothers, Dayton and Jerry Smith; and a sister, Helen Seamster.
She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving is her son, Larry Alan Evans (Annette) of Supply, NC, along with grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Supply, NC officiated by Rev. Kenny Locklear. A burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason Davis, Ethan Garcia, Reed Garcia, James Upchurch, Luke Upchurch, Jr., and James Ward.
