Lynda found the love of her life when she met and married Charles "Chip" Lanks, Jr. in the Washington DC area in 1977. Lynda lived in several states including Virginia, Pennsylvania, the state of Washington, and California. Lynda was a 1972 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School in Lima Ohio. She was a member of Generations Church in Southport, NC and loved the church services there. Lynda loved reading, doing puzzles, traveling, and drinking wine. You could find Lynda at the gym in St James 3-5 times a week, taking classes with good friends. Lynda greeted everyone with a smile and never complained. She had that immense passion for God and family that brought her peace in her final days.
Lynda left this earth so unexpectedly, after her battle with cancer. Her departure is deeply felt by her entire family and friends. There will be a celebration of life in the coming months. No service is scheduled at this time.
