Obituary
Manuel “Moe” James Mosbey, 94, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Born in New Orleans, LA on March 6, 1931, he was a son of the late Manuel Joseph Mosbey and Odile Seibert Mosbey. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Margaret McCain Mosbey and a daughter Theresa Letteria.
He was a retired mechanic and a United States Army Korean War veteran and was a life member of the Holden Beach VFW Post #668.
Surviving are his daughter Deborah Dallas (Charles) and his son Manuel James Mosbey, Jr., (Cindy); seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on February 9, 2026 at 10:00AM in St. Brendan, the Navigator Catholic Church, 5105 Ocean Hwy West, Shallotte, NC 28470.
