Obituary
Marcus Gene Stanley, 69, of Shallotte, North Carolina, died November 28, 2025. He was born in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, on October 27, 1956, a son of the late David Mazon Stanley, Sr. and Annie Rae Edwards Stanley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Larry Stanley.
He was a local carpenter and an avid Harley Davidson Motorcycle fan.
Surviving are his companion of twenty-seven years, Kim Edwards; daughter, Amanda Lynn Reeves; brother, David (Dee) M. Stanley, II, (Debbie); sisters, Jackie Varnam (Nicky) and Marilyn Reeves; grandchildren, Elijah, David, Bella, and Becca; and sister-in-law, Linda Stanley.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
