Margaret Ochs, 72, Shallotte, NC died October 9, 2019.
Born in Queens, NY on October 2, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Philip Doherty and Ellen Turley Doherty.
She was retired from the Board of Education in New York, and she and her husband were the original owner-operators of Joey-O’s Pizzeria in Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph R. Ochs; daughter, Tara Noll, Shallotte, NC; son, Joseph “Joey” Ochs, Jr. (Jennifer), Shallotte, NC; sister, Noreen Leistman, Long Island, NY; grandsons, Gregory, Joey, Brian, and John.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 4:00 pm in Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte.
