Margaret Elizabeth Rosenfeld, 83, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2025.

She was born in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.S. in Chemistry.

Margaret worked for Standard Brands before having a family and then returned to work for Corning, Inc. On retiring, she and her husband settled in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, where she loved the warm weather and sunny skies. Margaret was wise, compassionate, strong, and funny. She was an avid bridge player. One of her defining characteristics was her everpresent willingness to lend a helping hand to others, whether it was volunteering with Meals on Wheels or baking one of her famous dishes for a community event.

She was a loving wife, a selfless and devoted mother, and an adoring grandmother. She will be forever missed by her husband of 59 years, David; her sons David and John (Uta); her daughter, Elizabeth (Jerry); and her grandchildren Cassie (Corey), Reese, and Jerry Jr. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Conroy, and her sister, Mary Wynne Martini. She is survived by her brothers James (Valerie) and William (Theresa).

Visitation will be on Sunday, March 16th, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Brunswick Funeral Home. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on March 17th, at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, followed by a brunch in the church hall.
