Obituary
Maria Cristina Cortez, age 88, of Shallotte on Sunday September 19, 2021 at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center.
She was born in Altamirano, Mexico on May 1, 1933 the daughter of the late, Saltacion Noberon and Eulogia Cortez Noberon and was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Dominquez.
Maria was a great lady and her memory will live on by her loving family and friends.
Surviving are her children, Felix Dominquez, Enrique Dominquez, Alfonso Dominquez, Emiliana Dominquez, Maria D. Dominquez, Gloria Dominquez and Alicia Dominquez; 31 grandchildren and 49 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday September 25, 2021 in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday September 24, 2021 at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel.
