Obituary
Marlene B. Treffinger, 86, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died March 14, 2023.
Born in Grimsby, England on August 24, 1936 daughter of the late Frederick and Ellen Brewitt. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a grandson, Justin Treffinger.
Prior to her illness she was active in the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Scouts and Band Parents Group.
Surviving are her husband, Theodore Treffinger; daughters, Jacqueline Eiermann (George) of Downingtown, PA and Janet Cascio (Tim) of Dunellen, NJ; sons, Mark Treffinger (Janet) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Robert Treffinger (Debbie) of Bridgewater, NJ; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte, NC.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
