Mary Alice Baas Siebigteroth formerly of Caro, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 in her home in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Mary Alice was born December 22, 1949 to James and Alicelane (Boersema) Baas. Mary Alice enjoyed spending time with her dog, Charlie, gardening, reading, cooking, writing, spending time at the beach and with her family.
Mary is survived by her husband of 43 years, Pete Siebigteroth; seven children, Chris Podczervinski, his wife, Liz, of Westland, MI, Josh Podczervinski, his wife Lori, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Bekki Hiser, her husband Brian of Caro, MI, Richard Siebigteroth and his wife Cindy of Yorktown, VA, Doug Siebigteroth of Waterford, MI, Kevin Siebigteroth and his wife Cara of Lander, WY, Steven Siebigteroth and his wife Pam of White Lake, MI and a brother, John Bruce Baas of Fort Meyer, FL. She had 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, Keylen Siebigteroth wife Meaghan and great-granddaughter Helen of Lander, WY, Morgan Thomas, husband Gabe and great-granddaughter Amelia Renee, of Youngsville, NC, Kendra Forister and husband Brandon of Sheridan, WY, Christopher Podczervinski of Westland, MI, Greyson Guild of Saginaw, MI, Mary Margaret (Maggie) Podczervinski of Statesboro, GA, Isabella of Yorktown, VA, Gatlin Guild of Caro, MI, and Mikey and Max of White Lake, MI.
In keeping with Marys’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be April 10 at 11:00 AM with a memorial service at Noon at Brunswick Funeral Service in Shallotte, NC followed by a luncheon.
