It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Bernadette Catherine Loos, the best mom and the most loving wife, who entered eternal rest on September 10, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born on October 28, 1946, in Sewickley, PA, she dedicated her life to her family. For 55 wonderful years, she was the devoted wife of David Rudolph Loos. Together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.

As a mother, she was unmatched—selfless, caring, and always putting her children first.  Her wisdom, gentle strength, and unwavering support shaped the lives of her children and grandchildren in countless ways. She created a family bond that will endure for generations.

Bernie will be remembered for her kind heart, her giving spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Her legacy of love will live on through her family, who were the joy of her life.

Bernie is survived by her beloved husband, David; her children, Jennifer Brady, John Loos, and Jason Loos; her grandchildren, Aedan Brady, Declan Brady, Tiernan Brady, Ronan Brady, Lochlan Brady, Cameryn Loos, Theodore Loos, Emmanuel Loos; and all those who were blessed to know her.

A funeral mass celebrating her life will be held on September 26, 2025, at 12:00pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport, NC.

Though she is no longer with us, her love, faith, and devotion remain forever in our hearts.
