Obituary
Mary Katherine Stewart Stancil, age 71, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC passed away on Sunday May 9, 2021 in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Columbus County, NC, on May 10, 1949 a daughter of the late Mack O’Neil Stanley and Amelia Lucille Milliken Stewart Stanley. She was also preceded in death by her husband Gregory H. Stancil; a grandson, Justin Stewart; a sister, Linda Reeves; and a brother, Lewis Stanley.
Surviving are her children, Robin Dale Stewart, Kevin Bernard Stewart and Jessica Lucille Stancil all of Ocean Isle Beach; a brother, James E. Stewart and wife, Anne; a sister, Gwen I Baines and husband, Richard also of Ocean Isle Beach; nine grandchildren, Ashely Stewart, Dustin Stewart, Kascee Stewart, Kelsey LaFever, Hayden Stewart, Skylar Nesbitt, Elon Barrett, Brooke Barrett and Ronald Nesbitt, III; five great-grandchildren, Cayson, Dylan Troy, Leilah Braelynn and Eveleigh; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel, officiated by The Pastor Dwight Reaves.
Interment will follow in the Brooks Cemetery, Shallotte.
The family will receive friend from 6 to 8 PM Saturday May 15, 2021 in Brunswick Funeral service, Shallotte Chapel.
