Mary Louise Eaton, 73, Ocean Isle Beach, NC died January 17, 2019.

Born in Columbus, OH on December 28, 1945, a daughter of the late Jack Bergman and Betty Moore Bergman.

She graduated from Ohio State University’s College of Education. Her love of young children led her into a career of teaching kindergarten for 30 years in Ohio. She retired from Coshocton City Schools. She was a member of Seaside United Methodist Church where she served as a greeter, worked in the food pantry, and helped with the county fair. Her smile could brighten the darkest day, her heart took joy from the smallest of God’s creations, her life was dedicated to making every child feel loved and special, her faith gave her wings, her love is eternal.

Surviving are her husband Ken R. Eaton; daughter, Karen L. Gibney (Richard), Marysville, PA; son, Kyle A. Eaton (Kate), Wilmington, NC; sister, Patricia Halloran, Farmington Hills, MI; grandchildren, Drew Gibney, Derek Gibney, Shea Gibney, and Airlie Mae Eaton. Her grandchildren loved to call her grandma beach.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
