Mary V. Jamieson passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026. She was born April 21, 1937 in New York City. Mary graduated from Cathedral High school and worked for New York Life Insurance Co. NYC. She married her childhood sweetheart Alex Jamieson on November 30,1957 in Holy Trinity Church in NYC. Mary and Alex moved with their 3 children to Stony Point, NY. Mary attended Rockland Community College and became a medical assistant for ophthalmologist for many years. She also was the co-owner of Pretty Women Boutique in Stony Point. Mary was the daughter of Michael and Mary Henchy, Irish immigrants who became proud American citizens. She is predeceased by her loving husband Alexander Jamieson. Surviving are her daughter Maryjane and Richard Morsch, Kathleen & John Guyand son Alexander & Margaret Jamieson. A cherished and much loved Mimi to five grandchildren, Alexandra (Brendan), Patrick, Gabrielle (Sean), Mollie (Dominick) and Chloe and great grandchildren Olivia Clair and Jack Alexander, her sisters Betty Brand, Eileen Romer, and Julia Ruderman. Mary was predeceased by her brothers Michael and James Henchy. Mary and Alex moved to Sandpiper Bay in Sunset Beach in 2001. She met wonderful friends and loved playing 9 hole golf and Mexican Train. In later years, Mary moved to The Barclay senior living whereby she established more friendships and cherished moments. A mass will be celebrated Friday September 25, 2026 at 11:00 in St. Brendan, The Navigator Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.
