Maureen Alice Striano, 82, of Shallotte, NC died Sunday, February 4, 2024.
Maureen was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 20, 1941, a daughter of the late Lawrence Thompson and Carolene Waslufsky Thompson. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Striano, of which they were together for 60 plus years.
Surviving are her daughters, Roxanne Lederman, of Shallotte, NC, Paulette Denardi, of Shallotte, NC, Joanne Mueller (John), of Manorville, NY, and Bernadette Carter (Thomas), of Spring Hill, FL; a son Joseph Striano, of Patchogue, NY; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren with another one on the way; a step-sister, Marie Norman, of Sound Beach, NY.
