Melba Jane Williams, 91, of Shallotte, NC died on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
Born in Columbus County, NC on July 8, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Henry Grady Lennon, Sr. and Lalan Tart Lennon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Williams and brother, Henry Lennon, Jr.
She was a graduate of Campbell University and served on the Board of Trustees. She was a retired Trust Officer in the banking industry.
Surviving are sisters, Rebecca Parent, Cornwallville, NY, Rachel Roeda, Raleigh, NC, Margaret Register, Lugoff, SC, Carol Garrell, Charlotte, NC, and Sallie Little, Charlotte, NC.
Burial will be in Western Prong Cemetery, Whiteville, NC. No local services are planned.
