Michael Edward Pierce of Shallotte, NC, 60 years old, passed away peacefully on the eve of March 25, 2017, after a long battle with cancer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elise of thirty-three years; daughter, Lauren Reynolds (Brian) of Lake Waccamaw, NC; son, Nathan Pierce (Alicia) of Shallotte, NC; five grandchildren, Dylan, Brayden, Chase Irelynn, and Ryleigh; father, Ed Pierce (Sarah) of S. Fulton, TN; sister, Dawn Tomlin (Roy) of Lake Wales, FL; multiple nieces and nephews; also, special longtime friends, Buddy and Mary Gray of Shallotte, NC, Ray Ryan of Shallotte and Jimmy Sasser of Little River, SC.
Mike was preceded in death by a sister, Gail Pierce Denato of Kokomo, Indiana, and mother Aline Fiola Pierce of Kissimmee, FL.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM with service at 11:00 AM, April 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, 5229 Ocean Highway, West, Shallotte, NC, (910) 754-6363.
