Michael Vincent Mulcahy, 79, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Michael was born in Providence, RI on April 2, 1947, and was a son of the late Richard Mulcahy and Anne Cronin Mulcahy.
He was a veteran of the United States Army where he was proud to have served his country during the Vietnam war. Michael was also a retired firefighter from Providence Rhode Island Fire Department and Fresenius Medical Center.
Surviving are his wife Carol Feathers Mulcahy; sons Michael Mulcahy (Donna) of Little River, SC, Patrick Mulcahy (Lorena) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Richard Mulcahy of Fayetteville, NC; brothers, Richard Mulcahy of Erwin, NC, Robert Mulcahy of Little River, SC and Gary Mulcahy of Bristol, RI; eight grandchildren and eleven nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.
