Obituary
Mildred Mae McCafferty, 91, of Oak Island passed away June 15, 2018. She was born June 30, 1926, in Philadelphia to Christian West and Madeleine Murphy West. She enjoyed her years of retirement at Oak Island after retiring from Reliance Insurance Company in 1983. There was nothing of greater importance to her than her family and friends.
Surviving are her loving children, Diane Madeline McCaffety, Jacqueline Fischer, John Vincent McCafferty, Jean Patricia Schneider, Elizabeth Ann Colunga; and Thomas Robert McCafferty; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild.
A service of remembrance will be held in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA, when she is interred next to her husband.
