Nadyne Meldahl, formerly of Granville OH, passed away November 3 at her residence in Shallotte, NC. She was 91. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Meldahl Sr. and her youngest son Tony Meldahl. She is survived by daughter Karen West of Ocean Isle Beach NC and son Bob Meldahl and daughter-in-law, Bobbi Meldahl of Newark OH, daughter-in-law, Gina Razi, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grand children.

Nadyne's passion was teaching school. She completed college while raising her young family. She earned a Master's Degree at The Ohio State University and was a Jennings Scholar. She taught second grade in Marion and Alexandria, Ohio and in the Newark City Schools.

She was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 12, 1925. She volunteered in the USO during WWII where she met a handsome young pilot, Bob Sr, who became the love of her life. They were married for 64 years.

A brief service will be held at Arbor Landing in Shallotte, NC
on November 19 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The National Wildlife Federation.
