Nancy Ann Poole, 86, of Calabash died Saturday, August 26, 2017. Born in Shelby, NC, on February 18, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley Hendrick and Vera Delahay Hendrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Poole.
She was a homemaker and a retired associate of the Belk Company.
Surviving are her son, Thomas Michael Poole, of Bostic, NC; daughters, Debra “Debbie” Poole of Carolina Shores, NC, and Dale Abushakra of Calabash, NC; granddaughter, Nora Abushakra; great grandchild, Maya Elkatih; sons in laws, Jim Neville and Sam Abusharka.
Services will be conducted in Forest City, NC, at a later date to be announced.
