Nancy’s professional positions include: Advertising Manager Jamestown News, Advertising Account manager at High Point Enterprise, Owner/Founder, Square 1 Advertising, Customer Service Manager, Kayser-Roth, & Vice President & co-founder, Laser World, Inc., Greensboro, N.C.

Nancy was born in a three-room farmhouse, during a violent thunderstorm. She was delivered by a midwife. She had a fear of thunderstorms for the rest of her life. Life started normal for the first few years, until it took a turn. She found herself without a mother and unsure what home life would be. Her grandmother, Dora Smith cared for her and was a loving soul. She taught Nancy simple Bible verses and took her to church. She cared for her granddaughter until she passed in 1956, leaving Nancy and brother, Brady alone. Brady protected and cared for her his sister as well as he could. Their lifelong bond would never be broken.  Circumstances the following year were beyond Nancy & Brady’s control.  They were left standing in front of a stranger's house, and their dad saying, “I’ll see ya later”, while driving away. Nancy stated the next thirteen years were torture. She mentioned if not for her brother, close family members, friends, and one special person (She would marry 44 years later) she wouldn’t have made it through.  Nancy worked for a few years and knew there had to be a better way. She started college at night while working daily, until she attained her Bachelor's degree in1980, Nancy started with the High Point Enterprise, working on political campaigns, voicing in committees on city growth and treating clients as friends, rather than customers. Moving to a new city in 1990, she began new adventures in life, built an advertising agency at night, while working as a Customer Service Manager daily. She worked campaigning for a gentleman, who later became Sheriff, and employed the local law enforcement with security positions. By the end of the 90’s she had helped build a business and went full time there. She embarked for the next 12 years, building a trustworthy company, retiring as a vice president. Nancy had an adventurous life, one that could never be simplified into a brief summary. During these times of triumphs, she encountered many struggles, some being cancer, three automobile accidents, surgeries, and much more.

She was an inspiration to all who believe in God. No matter what life throws at us, we can persevere.

Nancy said, “JESUS IS LORD! THAT IS FINAL! YOU DON’T HAVE TO ACCEPT IT, BUT YOU CAN’T CHANGE IT!” AMEN
