Obituary
Norm Christen, 90, of Sunset Beach passed peacefully at Myrtle Manor on Friday, November 24, 2017. Born October 19, 1927 in Aneta, North Dakota, he was the only child of the late Norman and Ellie Erlandson Christen.He attended the University of North Dakota and served in the U.S. Navy.
He worked for PPG industries as a salesman before retiring. He was associated with and served as officers of the International Metal Decorators Association.
Everyone he met was his friend. He was a kind and gentle man, and will be greatly missed.
He leaves his loving wife Kathy; daughter Cindy (Will Hanaway); son Dennis (Jill); grandchildren; Tia and Tyler Christen; special friend, Darl Christen; and his dear pup, Daisy.
Services at 3:00 PM Friday, December 1st, at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, with visitation at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Organization.
