Obituary
Norman Jesse Simmons, 60 of Ash died September 16, 2016, after an illness. He was a son of the Late Jesse Oliver Simmons and Jo Ann Bellamy Simmons of Ash who survives. He was a Golf Course Superintendent, landscape architect, and graduate of West Brunswick High School. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jody Simmons.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by sons, Jarrett R. Simmons and Norman Elliott Simmons, both of Shallotte; brothers, Jeff Simmons of Supply, NC and Jason Simmons (Cindy) of Ash, NC; sister, Joanna Heinzman (Butch) of Statesville, NC; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 19, 2016 from New Britton Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Juniper Creek Cemetery, 6761 Kingtown Road, Ash, NC
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
