Novella “Nicki” Ann Cope, 67, of Sunset Beach passed away August 9. She was born in Fort Belvoir, VA on September 26, 1950, a daughter of Milton Banning and Eva Graver Banning, both of Ione, CA. She was a US Navy Veteran and a member of Waterbrook Community Church. She was an avid bridge player and possessed a special knack for making people happy.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Donald E. Cope; daughter Melissa Kepner of Norman, OK; brother, Marty Banning of Salina, OK; sisters, Sue Zinn
of Yuma, AZ, Robbin Martin and Sandra Banning both of Ione, CA; and three grandchildren, Mitchell, Jared and Morgan Kepner.
