Patricia Ann Mowery, 76, of Calabash, NC, formerly of Middletown, NY passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, after losing her hard fought battle with cancer.

Born in Middletown, NY on May 18, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Regina Hamilton.

Pat graduated from Middletown High School and OCCC. She worked for the Middletown school district, and as office manager for Middletown Medical Group.

Pat and David moved to Calabash, NC in 1994, where she worked as office manager for Dr. Robin Labod, and then as administrator for the Village at Calabash POA. Pat was an active member of Seaside United Methodist Church, serving as usher, volunteered at the country fair, recycle program, and the food pantry.

Pat is survived by her husband David of 53 years; son, Kris, his wife Suzanne; grandchildren, Ben & Anna of Louisville, KY; sister, Carole, husband Rollin; brother Harry, wife Kathy; sister Elaine, husband Ronald of Middletown, NY; sister, Merri Jo, husband Stephen of Farmington, NM; and many loving nieces and nephews.

She loved walks on the beach, taking cruises, knitting, and golf before getting too busy with other activities. The love of her life was spending time with her husband and grandchildren, watching them grow into amazing teenagers

Taken away from us way too soon, Pat will be greatly missed by her family, friends, church, and her community.

Funeral services will be held at Seaside United Methodist Church, Sunset Beach, NC, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11:00 am.
