Patricia Jordan Eagle Dodd, age 86 died Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at Coastal Pointe Assisted Living in Shallotte, NC.
She was born in Rowan County, NC to John Kirby Eagle and Edith Miller Eagle. She attended school in China Grove. She married John Perry Dodd in 1963. They lived in Tennessee, South Carolina, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Weaverville, NC and finally in Welford, South Carolina. John and Pat had two sons and three grandchildren. They loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. Pat enjoyed the hobbies of cooking, reading and playing cards. She was a member of Lyman United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Dean Eagle, and husband John.
She is survived by her sons: Eric Dodd of Supply, NC and Brian Dodd (Jeanne) of Randleman, NC; Grandchildren Joseph Dodd (Briana) of Asheboro NC, Summer Dodd, and Grace Dodd of Randleman, NC. Also, her sister, Sondra Eagle McDaniel (Gary), brother Donnie Eagle (Lynda) and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to honor her life will is scheduled at Coastal Pointe Assisted Living 5220 Ocean Hwy W Shallotte, NC on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating to a Western North Carolina Helene Relief charity of your choice.
