Obituary
Paul Francis Hardee, 88, Calabash, NC, died Tuesday, January 8, 2019.
Born in Horry County, SC on September 15, 1930, a son of the late William Frank Hardee and Pauline Westbury Hardee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Barnhill Hardee.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired from International Paper Company as a Land Management Supervisor. He was a member of McMilly Hunting Club, VFW, and was a former Boy Scout leader.
Surviving are his daughter, Sherry Gail Price (Troy), Calabash, NC; son, William Paul “Bill” Hardee (Jan), Tarpon Springs, FL; brother, Bob Hardee, Lake Wylie, SC; sisters, Joyce Privette, Conway, SC, Betty Sue Watts, Columbia SC; Patty Lee and Lenora Thompson, both of Conway, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Hardee (Liz), Jeremy Hardee (Brooke), Kimberly Pounsberry (Rick), Christen Cox (Webb), Jessica Price, Kelly Bell (Clayton); great-grandchildren, Skye, Forrest, Jameson, Coy, Camden, Caroline, Addison, Ava, Elizabeth, and Emily.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Chris Stanley. Burial will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
The family requests memorials be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1320 Hwy. 501, Conway, SC 29526, and/or Longwood Baptist Church, 2530 Longwood Rd., NW, Ash, NC 28420
Casketbearers will be Joshua Hardee, Jeremy Hardee, Webb Cox, Rick Pounsberry, Glenn Watts, and John Henry Hill.
