Obituary
Paul John Zittle, Jr., 65 of Supply, North Carolina, was taken away too soon on January 18, 2019. He was born December 26, 1953, in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of Paul John Zittle, Sr. and JoAnne Wootton Zittle. A patriot, he proudly served our great nation in the U.S. Army for 10 years and is a Vietnam Veteran. Paul spent many years in home construction, and he was very good with his hands and could fix most anything. He was an avid biker and created many enduring friendships with fellow biker brothers and sisters coast to coast. In addition, he learned to surf while serving active duty in Hawaii and was a regular Holden Beach surfer.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are his son, Paul John Zittle, III, of Winslow, Maine; brother, George Michael Zittle “Murph” (Terry) of Sykesville, Maryland; sisters, Pamela L.A. Barkett (Jake) of Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina; Shirley Gail Butler (Roy) of Westminster, Maryland and Laura Lynn Straitman (David) also of Westminster, Maryland; grandchildren, Jonathan Michael and Nathanial Thomas; and many loved nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made in Paul’s name to the Fallen Riders Foundation.
