Paul Kendall Helms, 77, of Holden Beach, NC, died on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Born in Mecklenburg County, NC on May 5, 1940, he was the son of the late LeRoy and Mary Moore Helms. He was also predeceased by wife, Peggy Jean Helms.
He was a veteran in the US Army.
Surviving are sons, Arthur G. Blue, Jr of Pineville, NC, and Lt. Col. Thomas G. Blue, Retired (Rose) of Southport, NC; daughters, Brenda G. Williams of Lancaster, SC and Teresa J. Faucette (Michael) of Charlotte, NC; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
