Obituary
Peggy Street Fowler, 79, of Carolina Shores, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
Peggy was born February 8, 1938, in Gastonia, NC, to the late John S. and Lyda Street. Peggy enjoyed gardening and was known in her community for her green thumb. She was honest and a straight shooter. She will be missed by those who knew her.
Peggy was also preceded in death by husbands, Bill E. Weaver and James Fowler, of Gastonia, NC; sisters, Patricia S. Powers, of Gastonia, NC, Martha S. Usery of Augusta, GA, Bobbie S. Threatt, of Corbin, KY.
She is survived by her sister, Sara S. Thurston, of Sylva, NC; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanne W. & David Zeigler, of Waxhaw, NC and Sydney W. & Bruce Fischer, of Rock Hill, SC; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
