Obituary
Holden Beach - Peggy Jane Allen, resident and community member of Holden Beach went to live with her heavenly Father on Tuesday morning July 30th, she peacefully passed at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
Born on June 25 1942, in Kansas City Missouri, Peggy moved to Greensboro NC where she met her husband John Allen and began her own company Allen and Associates Personal which she ran for many years, she was active in her church and a number of social and business groups.
She later retired to Holden Beach with her husband and continued to volunteer, working with the Beautification Club and led the Holden Beach Chapel ladies ministry. Peggy was active in the community and her church, and loved walking on the beach, painting, decorating, playing Canasta, and making those around her laugh.
She is survived by her husband John Allen, her daughter Kelly Ferrara and her two granddaughters Hannah Ferrara and Shelby Ferrara, her step daughters Emily Allen Hoover and Laura Kathryn Allen and her two step grandsons Christopher Paul Keen and Nicholas Allen Hoover.
