Obituary
Peter Richard DeMallie born September 13, 1942 (79 years old) passed away peacefully after a short illness (not Covid related) on May 23, 2022 at New Hanover County Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.
Peter was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Merle Lulu DeMallie of Tribes Hill, NY.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) DeMallie, sons, Sean (Valerie) DeMallie, Scott (Serena) DeMallie, Peter Jr (Christy) DeMallie, daughter Shelly Sadler, stepsons Carl (Shelly) Adams, and George (Barbara) Adams, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Wayne (Vina) DeMallie, and his grandpup Sweet Pea.
Peter proudly served his country throughout his life starting with several tours in Vietnam for the US Army, being a Delaware State Trooper, building Tomahawk missiles for General Dynamics, and finally retiring in May of 2021 as a Vice President of American Services Group of CA, Inc.
Peter loved his Country, his wife, his family, his grandpup, darts, Strohs beer and unfortunately for him, the New York Football Giants.
Pete was loved by all that knew him and will be greatly missed.
