Philip Brandon Tysinger

Philip Brandon Tysinger, 43, peacefully ended his watch on October 23, 2021, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center surrounded by is family and loved ones.

Brandon was born on August 23,  1978, in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was a graduate of North Myrtle Beach High School and obtained his EMT-Paramedic at Brunswick Community College.

Brandon was preceded in death by his mother Kathryn B. Tysinger of Little River, SC; father, Phillip R. Tysinger of Lumber City, GA; both maternal and paternal grandparents; and beloved pet Savannah.

Brandon was a devoted father, husband, brother, public servant, and friend. He had a tremendous love for life and a heart full and ready to serve others. He touched many lives with his uncanny wit, contagious smile and his unwavering ability to lift anyone’s spirits. Brandon loved his children. He loved being a father and mentor. He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters of the Red Knights. Brandon proudly achieved the rank of Road Captain. Brandon was a selfless public servant. He began his career of service in Horry County, South Carolina, and then joined Calabash Fire and Rescue, where he rose to the rank of Assistant Chief. The last sixteen years Brandon has been a cherished member of Brunswick County Emergency Services where he has served with honor and pride.

Brandon is survived by wife, Sheila D. Tysinger; three daughters, Lindzay Rayne, Kaitlyn Brianne and Ryleigh Noelle Tysinger; three sons, Christopher Ryan Tysinger, Hunter Drake and Nathan Ellis Ward; multiple other family members and beloved fur babies, Axel, Ragland, and Chance.
