Obituary
Polly Jane Berkheimer, 84, of Ocean Isle Beach passed away peacefully on August 10, 2016.
She was born December 18, 1931 in Frankfort Indiana the daughter of the late Lee and Ruth Wainscot Isgrig.
Her infectious smile brightened the world around her. She enjoyed being a homemaker, riding her bicycle, golf, bridge and reading.
Surviving are her husband Dale Berkheimer; two sons, David Berkheimer (Christine) of Ocean Isle Beach and Michael Berkheimer (Catherine) of Allentown, PA.; eight grandchildren, Andrew Berkheimer, Laura Allen, Mark Berkheimer, Jenna Hanna, Emily Berkheimer, Gabriel Duffy, Gaevin Duffy, Erica Miller; six great grandchildren and one on the way.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to; St Luke Lutheran Church 5869 Ocean Highway, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469, In the Memory of Polly Jane Berkheimer.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at St Luke Lutheran Church. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium where she will be placed to rest.
