Obituary
Rachel Flora Gaddis, 90, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died July 18, 2023.
Born in Barre, VT on September 13, 1932 a daughter of the late Alfred Lehoux and Marquerite Groleax Lehoux. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Edward Gaddis.
She was a member of the Ocean Ridges 80’s Ladies Club and a member of the Ocean Ridge Charites Choir.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Gaddis (Andrea) of Newtown, CT and Brian Gaddis (Patricia) of Norcross, GA; daughters, Eileen Combatti (Rich), Marie Gaddis all of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Denise Bush (Craig) of West Springfield, VA and Janet Mastroianni (Michael) of Glenwood, MD; brother, David Lehoux of Conover, NC; sister, Nancy Iandoli of Palm Coast, FL; twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A Mass will be celebrated on Monday; July 24, 2023 at 10:00 am in St. Brendan’s the Navigator Catholic Church.
Burial will be conducted in October at Lakeview Cemetery in New Canaan, CT. where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Edward.
The family request memorials are directed to the Gentiva Hospice, 497 Waterford Way, Suite 208, Belville, NC 28451.
