Rhonda Ellen Burgin Smith, age 64, died July 18, 2023, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, NC.
Rhonda was born November 8, 1958, in Japan, to Earlene and Waightstill Burgin.
She spent her early life in Fayetteville, NC and later worked with Black & Decker for many years. She loved her children, grandchildren and animals, particularly her dogs. She enjoyed crafting, making many floral arrangements and crocheting kitchen towels. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include father: Waightstill Burgin; brother: Roy Burgin (Suzanne), children: Melody Groves, David Pope (Elizabeth), Michael Smith and grandchildren: Brittany Duvall (Patrick), Sarah Burley, Chelsey Pope, Ashley Hewitt, Hailey Groves, Caleb Groves, David Pope, Jr., Ethan Pope and Emma Pope.
