Obituary
Richard Joseph Fody, 82, of Sunset Beach passed away on March 1, 2017.
Richard was born on January 15, 1935 to the late Theodore and Teresa Fody in Manhattan, NY. Richard served his country with pride in the U.S. Army Artillery. Richard was a successful entrepreneur owning his own business.
Surviving is his loving wife, Barbara; sons, Chip Fody (Regina) of Hockessin, DE, and Dean Fody (Lynda) of Long Island, NY; daughters, Therese Langan of Long Island, NY, and Aimee McGrath (Dennis) of Long Island, NY; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial Service with military honors will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 10am in Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
