Richard Louis Seyferth, 75, Bolivia, NC died January 8, 2022.
Though born April 26, 1946 in Plainfield, New Jersey, Richard Louis Seyferth grew up in Marion, Indiana, the son of Richard Seyferth and Priscilla Kujawa. He served as a submariner in the US Navy, then used the knowledge from his deployment as a consultant in the Nuclear Industry. His interest in sports culminated in his dream of completing the Ironman. A lover of golf, he spent the last twenty years in Winding River Plantation in North Carolina among great friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by son, Richard Thomas. Wife Nancy, niece Debbie Johnson, nephews Richard E. Orrell, James Orrell, and Thomas Miller plus five great nieces and one great nephew mourn the loss of a beloved partner and uncle.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 7:00 pm in Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm prior to the service.
