Richard Merl Childers, 78, of Bolivia, NC, died November 13, 2016.
Born in Akron, OH on December 4, 1937, he was a son of the late Dana Childers and Maude Johnson Childers. He was a US Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen I. Childers; sons, Michael J. Childers (Kathy), of Cape Cod, MA, and Wayne M. Childers, of New Hampshire; daughter, Donna M. Amaral, of East Bridgewater, MA; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Memorials may be directed to the SECU Hospice “Brunswick House”, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28427.
