Obituary
Rita Jean DuGan, 88, formerly of Shallotte, NC died Friday, March 24, 2017.
Born in Pittston, PA on December 29, 1928 a daughter of the late Ray Egan and Rita Miller Egan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Charles Frederick DuGan, Sr.
She was an active member of Camp United Methodist Church and the Brierwood Ladies Golf Association.
Surviving are sons, Charles “Chuck” F. DuGan, Jr (Maryann) Quakertown, PA, Robert “Bob” DuGan (Patricia) Ocean Isle Beach, NC, and Donald C. DuGan (Kathleen) Calabash, NC; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Camp UMC in Shallotte, NC by The Reverend Richard Vaughn. Inurnment will be in the Little River UMC Columbarium.
