Robert Allen Johnson, 73, of Ocean Isle Beach, NC died July 27, 2020.
He was born in Olean, NY on March 13, 1947, a son of the late Oscar Johnson and Elsie Karns Johnson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald, Schoonover, a sister, Patti Johnson, and a step-son, Ricky Burris.
Prior to retirement, he worked for Brunswick Alcohol Beverage Department and was a U.S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam.
Surviving are his wife, Hattie Brown-Johnson and her children, Sherry Marshall (Jimmy), Shallotte, NC, and Michael Brown (Kathryn), Atlanta, GA; son, Robert A. Johnson, Jr.; brothers, Eugene Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Charles Johnson, Donald Schoonover, Jay Schoonover, and Ronald Schoonover; sisters, Norma Fitzgerald, Judy Stevenson, Paula Schoonover, Betty Jo Voltz, and Mildred Schoonover, and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 31, 2020 at 11:00 am in Brunswick Memorial Gardens, Shallotte, NC.
Masks and social distancing will be observed.
