Robert Gene "Bobby" Evans

    Robert Gene “Bobby” Evans, 77, of Ash, North Carolina, died Thursday, December 5, 2024.

    Born in Brunswick County, NC, on December 5, 1947, he was a son of the late Troy O’Bryan Evans and Letha Allene Andrews Evans.

    Prior to retirement, he was a thirty-year employee of DuPont Corporation and later cabinet maker with Mike Baccarny Cabinet Makers.

    Surviving are his wife, Barbara Milligan Evans; daughter, BreAnn Evans, brother, Wayne Evans, and granddaughter, Riley Marshall.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Monday, December 9, 2024, from New Britton Baptist Church (5494 Kingtown Rd NW, Ash, NC  28420) officiated by The Rev. Sterling Sarvis. Interment will follow in the Bill Inman Cemetery.

    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times from his residence.
