Obituary
Robert (Bob) King of Ocean Isle Beach, NC formerly of Hingham, MA passed away peacefully after a long illness surrounded by his family.
Born May 3, 1946 in Boston, MA was the son of the late Earl L. King and Barbara V. (Sadler) King of Hingham, MA; father to the late Lorine (Lori) King and brother to the late Priscilla Martinelli.
He is survived by his loving wife, Pamala (Miller) King; daughter, Rachael and husband, Ryan Leonard of Albemarle, NC; son, Robert (Robbie) Jr. and wife, Katy King of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Jennifer King of Hull, MA; brothers, Earl Jr. and wife, Susan King of Port Richie, FL, and David King of Weymouth, MA; sister, Debbie and husband, Henry Johnson of Weymouth, MA; step children; Aaron (Kerri) Otto of Concord, NC and Emily (Keith) Wood of Calabash, NC; eleven grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
Robert served in the U.S. Navy from 1964-1969 on the USS Wasp stationed out of Boston, MA
Robert worked for Armstrong Cork. Braintree MA for 20 years as a maintenance manager before transferring to Armacell Corp. in NC where he retired in 2008.
He was a big New England Patriots and Red Sox fan.
