Robert Terry Tharp, 74 of Supply, NC passed away on March 29, 2026.

Terry was born on April 19, 1951, in Southport, NC to the late Robert Thomas Tharp and Emma Johnson Tharp.

In addition to his parents Terry was preceded in death by his beloved wife Saundra Evans Tharp, two siblings Emma Hewett and Tommy Tharp a childlike fur-baby Mattie along with various other family members.

He is survived by three children Terra Clemmons (Chris), Chuck Tharp (Heather), Mitzi Ward (Sean); brother-in-law Paul Evans (Angie); nine grandchildren Buddy, Nicky, Chelsey, Jordan, Josh, Bailey, Chloe, Casey, Peyton; 14 great grandchildren; girlfriend Edna and daughter Crystal (Tyler). He also leaves his fur-baby Cookie.

Terry was an avid outdoorsman; he loved being on the boat fishing. He had a special love for racing. Terry loved sharing these times with family and friends. 

Terry was a hard-working provider where he spent most of his years operating heavy equipment. Terry was a faithful husband, loving father and even better grandfather.

Terry’s life was a life well lived.  He will be remembered by all who knew him as a hardworking family loving big hearted man. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 2:00pm in the Brunswick Funeral Service Shallotte Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
