Ronald Edward (Bomber) Bombolis, 72, Sunset Beach, NC died on October 24, 2020.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ on July 17, 1948, he was the son of the late Vaslav Edward Bombolis and Olga Cyran Bombolis.
He was a member of the Sea Trail Men’s Golf League and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Prior to locating to Sunset Beach, he and his wife were active in the New Jersey Special Olympics Track and Field Organization. He was a retired Corporate Finance Comptroller, a CPA, and was an active member of the St. Brendan Food Pantry.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen Kehlbeck Bombolis, a son, Christopher Patrick “Chris” Bombolis (Jeanie), Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Zoe and Gabriel.
A Mass will be celebrated on November 5, 2020 at 10 am in St. Brendan, The Navigator Catholic Church.
