Obituary
Ronald Joseph Bunkowski, Sr., 73, of Supply, passed away on Tuesday, January, 9, 2018.
Ron was born on November 21, 1944 in Camden, NJ to the late Lawrence and Phyllis Biel Bunkowski. He was a well-liked retired state trooper from the state of NJ who moved to NC to pursue his love of golf in the Lakes of Lockwood Community. He was involved in the weekly community poker game and enjoyed a good game of black Jack. He was a faithful member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by a brother, Richard Bunkowski, and a sister, Mari Beck.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 47 years, Theresa; son, Ronald Bunkowski, Jr. of Delran, NJ; daughters, Alise Garris (Robby) of Supply, Tracy Rearick (Jeffrey) of Williamstown, NJ; brother, Larry Bunkowski of Delran, NJ; grandchildren, Alexis, Allanah, Brandon, and Julianna.
A mass will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10am in St. Brendan’s Catholic Church. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 4 to 6pm in Brunswick Funeral Service Chapel, Shallotte. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Blackwood, NJ at a later date.
