Obituary
Ronnie Roy Grissett, age 67, died Thursday, August 31, 2023, at his home in Supply, NC.
Ronnie was born on February 22, 1956, in Fayetteville, NC to Roy and Iva Ward Grissett.
Ronnie loved books, clamming, and heading shrimp. Of late, he would go to the library almost everyday to read and work on the computers there and to be with his “library buddies.” He enjoyed a good burger (Big Mac) and watching TV. He had worked as a laborer in various jobs over the years. Ronnie was a US Army veteran.
Ronnie is survived by one sister and one brother: Barbara Galloway (Ernie) and Jerry Allard Grissett (Pauline).
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte, NC, and the funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Norton and The Rev. J. B. Kennedy officiating. The burial will be in Brunswick Memorial Gardens.
Casket Bearers will be John Galloway, Keith Galloway, Alex Kuigre, Jay Howard Robinson, William Sullivan, Matt Fulford, Dyland Branch, and Eddie Galloway.
